HETA Clinical: Speed up pathology workflows and reduce failed molecular tests
A family of pan-cancer AI products spanning the pathology workflow, from intake and evaluation to molecular testing. The first four HETA Clinical products measure slide quality, tumor presence, mitotic counts, and tumor cellularity across whole slide H&E images.
From intake to precision testing
More HETA Clinical products will be released over time.
Quality Control
Measures slide quality before analysis, identifying a range of slide quality issues, so the lab can decide whether to proceed, rescan, or recut.
Quality failures caught at scanning
Quality failures surface before review or analysis begins.
Consistent acceptance criteria
One measured standard across operators, sites, and shifts.

Tumor Detect
Annotates tumor regions and flags cases likely to contain tumor at scanning, so they are read first and additional stains can be ordered at intake.
Case prioritization
Cases likely to contain tumor move ahead of the arrival-order worklist.
Ready for review
Tumor regions are pre-annotated, so additional stains can be ordered in one pass.

Mitosis
Counts mitoses across the whole tumor area and reports both index and count, so the result doesn’t depend on which fields were picked.
Pathologist time
Removes slow manual counting from the evaluation workflow.
Reproducible counts
The same count every time, reducing variability between readers.

Tumor Cellularity
Measures tumor cell content and proposes a region with sufficient tumor content to analyze with molecular testing.
Fewer failed molecular tests
Pathologists estimate 10–20% of molecular tests fail because the tissue sent lacks enough tumor.
Conserve tissue
Fewer repeat biopsies and lengthy delays.
